With Simplify by Kim Prevodorants, a little goes a long way. But it is easy to over apply the product, which won’t hurt you, but it doesn’t help stretch your dollar as far as it can go. You just invested in using precious metals as a hygiene routine, so we think you deserve to know how to stretch that investment as far as it will go. Properly & sparingly applied, Simplify by Kim Prevodorants actually can cost less than traditional, cheaper deodorants.
The pictures above is demonstrative of the amount of Prevodorant that an average size man would use, even very hairy men. A smaller person with less hair (or woman with no hair) could use less than what is depicted.
The usage guideline is to just cover the entire area of the armpit with a layer you can barely feel, and make sure to cover all the fold areas of your skin there. The metals will stay on your skin, typically until you wash it off or sweat profusely (which is a great time to shower and re-apply!). Those metals remain there as a protective shield so that new bacteria arriving to your skin die on contact. That’s the reason that the product lasts a very long time for some people; depending on their activity levels, hygiene routines, etc. This is also the reason that your clothes come off fresher, because bacteria was killed upon arrival and so it does not live on in your clothes.
We found that used in the amount showed above, a single gel stick will last about 48 days — as long, or longer, than many people use a typical chemical-based deodorant stick for. Our 4 oz 100% plant-derived formula last up to several months for many users.
Another trick for stretching out your investment: because the cap can create a small amount of suction when being removed, always back the Prevodorant back into the stick by rotating the wheel clockwise just a little bit. Leaving the Prevodorant gel all the way up on the surface of the pinholes can cause a little gel to come out when you remove the cap.
For uses on other parts of the body subject to body odor development (feet or privates), use a similar amount of product. For gel stick usage, wipe the product off the surface and apply with your fingertips.
Like other gel products, our product does go on moist, but it dries fast and is clear, so it will not stain your clothes or undergarments. The water evaporates, but the metals do not of course, and will stay there doing their job. If you have invested heavily in your wardrobe, we hope that knowing less bacteria will live on your clothes will help you stretch your wardrobe budget further, as well as your hygiene budget. Similarly, you may find that you need to do laundry less often; yet another savings.
Summary: with the gel sticks, you’ll find that using about as little product as you can get to come out of the pin holes is all you need. With our 100% plant-derived gels, just a dab will be sufficient. Don’t overuse the product to make your investment stretch further.
